Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer was seated in the golden ticket section and linked up with track stars as he watched athletes compete at the Diamond League meet in Zurich.
Day 2 of the Zurich Diamond League showcased most of the world's top track and field athletes on a night where 26 champions were crowned and four meeting records broken at the Letzigrund Stadium.
Federer was spotted in the VIP stands as he cheered the athletes on, to the excitement of the crowd.
Among the top retired sporting stars in attendance were Federer, Jamaican-Slovenian sprint legend Merlene Ottey, and former decathlon world record holder Ashton Eaton, among others.
Noah Lyles and Femke set new records at Zurich Diamond League
World and Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles won his sixth Diamond League title at the series final in Zurich on Thursday, while Karsten Warholm, Femke Bol, and others clocked meeting records.
Lyles ran a blistering 19.74s to record a narrow victory over Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo in the men’s 200m, claiming his sixth career Diamond Trophy in the process. He became the most successful track athlete in the series’ history and just one title short of the overall record.
