Osimhen's agent to meet PSG representative as Napoli demand ₦74 billion fee
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain after reports surfaced that his agent is set to meet with PSG’s football advisor in charge of performance and recruitment, Luis Campos.
PSG’s football advisor meets with Osimhen
French media outlet Foot Mercato reports that Luis Campos is set to meet the Napoli forward’s agent during the international break, with a move to the French capital on the cards.
Osimhen, who arrived today in the Super Eagles camp ahead of the doubleheader against Guinea Bissau, has been in sensational form for Napoli this season, scoring 25 goals in all competitions, including 21 in Serie A, where he is the top scorer and Napoli lead the table with 18 points.
He also scored three goals in two legs of the UEFA Champions League round of 16, where PSG incidentally crashed out.
PSG looking to bring Osimhen back to France
Paris Saint-Germain have been long-term admirers of Osimhen and have been linked with a move to bring the Super Eagles forward back to France where he initially starred for Lille, especially if some superstars like Lionel Messi, Neymar, or Kylian Mbappe were to leave the club.
Osimhen will not come cheap, however, as Napoli have slapped a €150 million price tag on their star forward.
Given Les Parisiens struggles with UEFA’s financial fair play rules, it is uncertain whether they can afford the fee, but that has not stopped Campos from allegedly setting a meeting to see if a deal can be done for the 24-year-old.
