Super Eagles star Chukwueze suffers injury, set to miss AC Milan's clash with Roma

Chukwueze has gradually started building his form after helping his team off the bench to a win a few weeks ago.

However, he is going to miss the clash with Roma, who will host AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.

Roma currently holds the 6th position with 63 points, closely followed by AC Milan in 8th with 60 points, with both teams vying for a spot in European football next season.

SOS Fanta reported that Lorenzo Pellegrini will not play in Roma's next match, and Chukwueze is out for AC Milan's as well.

The 25-year-old forward is suffering from inflammation of the pubic bone and requires careful treatment.

Under coach Sergio Conceição, Samuel Chukwueze's role at AC Milan has diminished this season, resulting in him playing primarily from the bench.

Deemed expendable by Conceição, the Nigerian international has seen significantly reduced playing time at the club.

Although he registered his first assist of the season against Bologna two weeks prior, he only featured for eight minutes in the following game.
