Sha'Carri Richardson shares emotional moment with family after winning US 100m title to seal Paris Olympic ticket
Sha'Carri Richardson has a strong connection with her family and she never ceases to show this always, after sharing another emotional moment with her grandmother following her successful US 100m title defense to seal her Paris Olympics ticket.
Richardson, who has a class apart at the trials from the qualifying heats to the semifinals by clocking the fastest overall times, showed her supremacy again in the final, clocking an outstanding world-leading time of 10.71s for another exceptional victory.
She inspired her training mates Melissa Jefferson racing to a brilliant Personal Best (PB) of 10.80s to finish second and Tee Tee Twanisha Terry with her best performance of the season in 10.89s for third place, as the trio are heading to the Olympics for the first time in their careers.

Her grandmother has been in attendance from the first day of the trials and each time after her race, the world's fastest woman will go to the stands to hug and receive her grandmother's blessings.
With her spot now sealed in Paris, the talented speedster will be gunning to make her first Olympic debut memorable by having another iconic outing like she did to win the world 100m title last year.
