The American track star shared an update on being back in the lab on her Instagram story, showing a short happy video in training of being back and ready to regain her position on top of the world's women's sprinting next year.

Richardson had a rollercoaster 2025 season on and off track, but showed resilience through it all by ending it on an impressive note with a fifth-place finish in the women's 100m final and anchoring Team USA to 4x100m gold at the World Championships in Tokyo.

Despite losing her world title to training partner Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, who had a historic year, Richardson was still grateful for the season and promised there's more to come.

“2025 owes me nothing, but I am thankful for what this year has revealed and allowing the tone to be set for the rest of my life,” the 2023 world champion in the 100m wrote in a post on Instagram. “I am Sha’Carri Richardson and there is so much more to come, just wait and see.”
