The 22-year-old Elliott made just 18 Premier League appearances last season due to stiff competition at Liverpool, starting only two of those matches.

However, Elliott boasts a U21 European Championship title with England, having successfully defended their crown this summer with a 3-2 victory over Germany in the final.
