Pogba spotted in Saudi Arabia amidst Al-Ittihad negotiations
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly been spotted in Saudi Arabia amid concrete interest in his services from Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.
Pogba approached by Al-Ittihad following Benzema and Kante capture
Al-Ittihad has already added Pogba’s compatriots Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante this summer and are believed to be interested in adding the Juventus star to their repertoire of stars before the end of the summer transfer window.
The French midfielder had allegedly been approached by his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, with an offer from the oil-rich club in the last few days, but the reports coming out of Italy suggested that Pogba was uninterested in a move to Saudi Arabia at the moment.
According to those reports, Pogba was focused on redeeming his image at Juventus after an injury-laden 2022/23 season ruined his return to Turin.
Pogba reportedly spotted in Saudi Arabia
All that could be set to change, however, with a report from Goal Italia correspondent Romeo Agresti suggesting that the Frenchman visited Saudi Arabia.
#Pogba venerdì sera è sbarcato in Arabia Saudita. Sul suo conto c’è l’interessamento dell’Al-Ittihad. Fonti locali raccontano che il centrocampista francese abbia visitato le strutture del club allenato da Nuno Espirito Santo. Resta da capire la volontà del diretto interessato…

According to the report, not only did Pogba visit Saudi Arabia, but the Frenchman was also spotted in the premises of Al-Ittihad further fuelling speculation of a move from Juventus this summer.
A move for Pogba, who turned 30 in March, could spell the end of his European career and would be seen as a major win for the Saudi Arabian project, as signing a reputable midfielder still believed to have many years ahead of him would be a major boost to the league’s standing in world football.
