"I’m Tyrique George, and these are five things about me. I was born in Camden, London, and my mom is Ghanaian, and my dad is Nigerian," he stated.
This declaration confirms the young forward could choose to play for Nigeria's Super Eagles or Ghana's Black Stars, in addition to England's Three Lions, for whom he has featured at the youth level.
George also highlighted his versatility as a player, noting his ability to operate in various attacking roles.
"I can play on both feet, either wing, attacking midfield, or up front," he explained. He also cited Neymar and Jadon Sancho as his favorite players and major influences on his playing style.
Reflecting on his development at his parent club, George mentioned his experience in top-tier competitions.
"At Chelsea, I played in the Champions League, Conference League, and the Club World Cup," he said, providing context to his football journey.
On the international front, George has been a consistent presence in the English youth setup. "I started playing for England since under-15s, all the way to now under-21s," he noted.
The Super Eagles have been blessed with world-class forwards over the years, especially in recent times, with both Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman winning the CAF Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons.
There is a pathway for Tyrique to play for Nigeria, but he must cement himself as a top striker in Europe.
