Liverpool vs Man Utd: Late drama as Amad strikes to deny Reds in Anfield thriller

Amad Diallo scored a late equaliser as Manchester United and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw at Anfield.

The Reds dominated the early stages, but United's defense held firm, with goalkeeper Onana making a crucial save to keep the score level at halftime.

The second half saw United take the lead against the run of play, courtesy of a powerful strike from Lisandro Martinez.

However, Liverpool responded quickly, with Cody Gakpo equalizing before Mohamed Salah converted a penalty to put the hosts ahead.

Just as it seemed Liverpool would secure a vital win, Amad scored a late equalizer to send the away fans into raptures.

The result moved Manchester United up to 13th in the Premier League table, above West Ham, and provided a much-needed boost for Ruben Amorim's side.

In a dramatic finale, Harry Maguire had a chance to snatch all three points for United, but his effort sailed over the crossbar, leaving both teams to settle for a share of the spoils.
