Liverpool in for Caicedo

Brighton's Moises Caicedo

According to 90min, the Reds still have plans to add a third midfielder but that need has become even more pressing as both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson are considering moves to Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are trying to close a deal with Brighton for Moises Caicedo but are still some away from reaching the Seagulls' asking price.

Brighton want £100m for Caicedo, a price set based upon the Declan Rice fee, in a potential move from West Ham to Arsenal.

Liverpool are now monitoring the situation and could make a move in the coming days but any move of that magnitude would hinge upon the potential departure of club captain Jordan Henderson.
