Lionel Messi to earn more than Ronaldo in reported £522m Saudi Arabia contract
Reports emanating from France narrated that Messi’s move to Al-Hilal is as good as a “done deal.”
Pulse Sports had earlier reported that the move might not see the light of day because of certain objections that Lionel Messi’s wife raised.
However, it appears the world cup winner had managed to convince his wife so he can take up the big money deal, which will see him earn more than former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to a Dailymail report which quoted AFP, a source with close links to negotiation confirmed that Lionel Messi will be playing in the Saudi Arabian League next season.
The anonymous source also added that the transfer is a huge one and it’s a “done deal.”

Meanwhile, the PSG star resumed training with the rest of the squad after being suspended for an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia.
The Argentine was left out of PSG’s win against Troyes due to his recent escapade, which led to a two weeks suspension and a fine by the club.
The club officially posted Lionel Messi's resumption to the training ground, and he was captured training with his colleagues.
