Jadon Sancho offered Erik Ten Hag 'escape' by Arsenal fan Piers Morgan
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has reached out to Manchester United playmaker Jadon Sancho for an interview after his scathing attack on his manager Erik Ten Hag.
Sancho responded to being called out by his boss after United’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday.
The Red Devils came short again against the Gunners following a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates.
Sancho missing in action
The 23-year-old was the most high-profile omission from the travelling squad against Mikel Arteta’s men.
United manager Ten Hag provided an explanation after his Red Devils crashed in North London.
According to the former Ajax boss, Sancho was not included in the squad for the game because he failed to perform in training.
“Jadon Sancho out? Based on his performance in training we didn't select him,” he noted per a Pulse Sports report.
“You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why in this game he wasn't selected."
Moments after Ten Hag’s comments, Sancho hit back to his manager throwing him under the bus.
The forward took to his X.com account to post a scathing rebuttal to what his manager had said.
“Please don’t believe everything you read,” Sancho stated in a statement on X.com. “I will not allow people to say things that is completely untrue.”
“I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into. I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair."
Piers Morgan reaches out to Sancho
Following Sancho’s sensational post which has since gone viral, famous Arsenal fan Piers, reached out to the United player to offer him an interesting proposal.
“Hi Jadon, come on @PiersUncensored and I’ll get you out of this Ten Hag nightmare,” the celebrity Gunner stated as he quoted Sancho’s post.
The offer from Piers comes after a viral interview with another United star, Cristiano Ronaldo, led to the departure of the Portuguese following a fallout with United’s Dutch manager.
Morgan is now hoping to help Sancho speed up his exit as that incredible interview with Ronaldo led to the Real Madrid legend and United agreeing to a mutual termination last year.
