I don't believe in Tosin Adarabioyo - Mikel Obi not convinced with fellow Nigerian’s talent
The Nigerian joined Chelsea from Fulham and has been at the heart of Chelsea's defence in the last few seasons.
However, his performance has not impressed the Chelsea legend, who claimed he is not good enough to lead the Blues' defence.
Chelsea have had an inconsistent start, securing eight points from their first five matches with two wins, two draws, and one loss.
Mikel speaks on Tosin’s ability
Speaking on his "Obi One Podcast," the former Nigerian international, who enjoyed a long and successful career at Stamford Bridge, argued that Chelsea lack the defensive foundation required to compete at the very top.

Mikel singled out Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been deputising for the injured Colwill, as not being the solution. "I don't believe Tosin is the guy to lead our defence," Mikel stated.
"I hope we can win the Premier League. With the current squad we have right now, going forward we're fantastic, we're creating chances," Mikel said.
"It's good to see Cole Palmer again, back scoring goals, creating chances. But now, he's going to be out for a while."
"For me, I just believe that the centre-back situation, even with Levi Colwill still there, I still believe we need another one. We need another one alongside him.
"We can see that Liverpool have Virgil van Dijk and Konate, Manchester City have Ruben Dias and John Stones, Gvardiol, Arsenal have Gabriel and Saliba.
“You need the spine of the team. You need two top centre-backs and I just feel like we need another top, top centre-back alongside Levi Colwill."
"For me, once we are able to sort out that position and get a goalkeeper, I think we will be challenging to win the Premier League.
“But right now, with the squad that we have, the Premier League is tough to win. It's a marathon, it's not a sprint," he added.
