'I can't explain' — Gundogan has no answers for Manchester City's terrible form

Manchester City's shocking collapse against Feyenoord in the Champions League has left Ilkay Gündogan baffled, and unable to find an explanation.

Despite taking a commanding 3-0 lead with just 15 minutes remaining, City's defense imploded, allowing the visitors to score three goals in 15 minutes, and snatch a 3-3 draw.

Two passing errors from Josko Gvardiol and a mistake by Ederson proved costly, as Anis Hadj Moussa, Santiago Giménez, and David Hancko scored for Feyenoord, with the equalizer coming in the final minute.

Gündogan, who scored one of City's goals, expressed his frustration, saying:

"The goals we conceded I think are inexplicable, in terms of the way we conceded them.

"There is only ourselves to blame. The situation, I don’t know, the way things are going right now, it is a bit inexplicable. I can't explain"

Up next for the Premier League champions is a tricky trip to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool.
