Historic Triumph in Rabat – PUMA Team Senegal crowned champions of Africa for the second time this decade
As Senegal were crowned champions in Rabat for the second time in just four years and Morocco competed in a historic home final, PUMA truly was at the heart of African Football.
“Congratulations to Senegal on a historic achievement, and respect to Morocco for an outstanding home tournament,” said Arthur Hoeld, CEO of PUMA.
“As a sports brand with a strategic focus on Football, we are incredibly proud to have Africa’s two most successful teams as partners."
With Egypt reaching the third-place play-off, and Ivory Coast reaching the quarter finals, PUMA-equipped federations wrote the script for the most defining matches at the tournament in Morocco.
As official technical partner of the CAF, PUMA moreover provided the official match ball and referee kits for the competition.
