Following the tournament, Kibet shared his thoughts on his official Facebook page on December 28, praising the organisers for creating a platform that extends beyond sport to positively impact lives.

"Great moments in Saboti. I attended the DIG Masengeli Super Cup final in Saboti, an inspiring platform that nurtures young talents, promotes teamwork, and empowers our youth through sports. Also in attendance were CS Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen, Senator Allan Chesang, Hon. Thomas Kiptoo Kwalia, and many others," Kibet wrote.

Aldrine Kibet's appearance in Saboti comes as his burgeoning career in Spain continues to capture significant attention back home.

The former St. Anthony’s Boys High School standout joined Spanish club Celta Vigo in July 2025, signing a four-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.

He moved to the La Liga side on a free transfer, initially joining the reserve team, Celta Fortuna, to facilitate his transition into European football.

Since his move, Aldrine Kibet has become one of Kenya's most-watched young talents, with fans closely following his progress and frequently urging Celta Vigo on social media to give him more playing time with the senior squad.

The attacking midfielder has backed up the hype with strong performances. After making his professional debut in August 2025, he delivered consistent displays for the club's youth and reserve sides.

By the end of the year, he had scored three goals in two matches, including a brace in a decisive victory over Real Oviedo’s U19 team in November 2025.

His rapid development did not go unnoticed. In early December 2025, Aldrine Kibet was called up to train with Celta Vigo’s first team ahead of a major La Liga fixture against Real Madrid. While he was not included in the final matchday squad, the experience was seen as a significant milestone in his career.

Kibet also achieved a major international breakthrough in November 2025 when he received his first senior call-up to the Harambee Stars.
