DRAMA! as Two Barcelona stars reportedly feuding over dispute between their girlfriends

The relationship between Gavi and Fermin Lopez, two key figures at FC Barcelona, has reportedly deteriorated due to alleged disagreements between their girlfriends.

Gavi and Fermin Lopez are two players who rose through the ranks of FC Barcelona's academy.

Close in age and both hailing from Andalusia, the Blaugrana duo have always maintained a close relationship.

Recently, however, tension has been brewing between the two Barcelona midfielders, culminating in a social media post by Fermin, deleted only minutes later:

The now-deleted post by Fermin was a cryptic post that read:

"Bad people never win. Neither do those who look the other way, nor those who make betrayal a lifestyle and cowardice a motto. They lose every day, because the makeup they cover themselves with every morning sooner or later disappears, and they end up showing the world who they really are."

While it is not known for sure who the post was directed to as Fermin has since been removed it from his page, screenshots continue to circulate, fuelling speculation over whether the message was personal.

However, Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that the message was aimed at Gavi and his girlfriend, Ana Pelayo.

Pelayo, a social media influencer from Seville, is reportedly at odds with Fermin's girlfriend, Berta Gallardo.

According to the aforementioned outlet, the two girlfriends have exchanged several barbs on social media.

Further fueling speculation of a rift, Fermin was among the few Barcelona players who didn't publicly wish Gavi a happy birthday on August 5th.

So far, neither of the two footballers has addressed the rumours.

Ana and Berta, the partners of the two Barcelona players, are both from Seville and work as social media influencers.

Gavi's girlfriend, Ana, has a significantly larger following on Instagram, with 396,000 followers compared to Berta's 155,000.

It has also been claimed that Fermin's girlfriend Berta's friend Zahara, allegedly had her eyes set on Gavi, way before his relationship with Ana.

However, when Gavi and Ana Pelayo's romance came to light, Fermin's girlfriend allegedly begun engaging with several posts on TikTok trolling Gavi's girlfriend.

All through the drama, neither Ana nor Gavi responded nor paid attention to her rumoured activity on social media, which was largely perceived as hostile amongst fans.

The news comes weeks after Berta and Fermin had unfollowed each other on Instagram to spark breakup rumours, following their summer holiday in Dominican Republic.

The pair eventually followed back each other days later, and posted up on their Instagram Stories to confirm their reconciliation.
