Wales pulled one back just before halftime when Harry Wilson scored from a penalty after Mats Sels was penalized for fouling Chris Mepham.
Sorba Thomas finished off Wilson's pinpoint cross-field pass at the back post seven minutes into the second half, and Brennan Johnson made it 3-3, minutes later.

Just as Wales pushed for the winner, Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne sealed the victory with a cool finish at the back post from Tielemans’ cross in the 88th minute.
