Chelsea to face battle from Liverpool in attempt to sign £47million-rated midfielder

Chelsea are reportedly set to face competition from Liverpool for youngster Luis Guilherme, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Palmeiras. 

The 17-year-old Brazilian, highly regarded and previously linked with Bayern Munich and Manchester City, has a reported £47 million release clause in his new contract. 

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are now monitoring Guilherme's situation, adding another contender for his signature. 

Chelsea have been monitoring the youngster for the past year and has shown interest, but with Liverpool entering the picture, the competition for the talented prospect may intensify.
