The coach acknowledged their exceptional quality following a hard-fought 0-0 draw in a pre-AFCON friendly match on Monday.

Super Falcons are Africa's WAFCON queens.

The friendly, played in Lisbon, saw the nine-time African champions showcase both defensive solidity and attacking intent, despite having arrived in Portugal less than 24 hours before the encounter.

The resilient performance, particularly a masterclass from reigning Africa's best goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, left a strong impression on their European opponents.

Neto also highlighted the individual brilliance of Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe.

“Exceptional presence in midfield and she was everywhere. Her reading of the game and ability to disrupt our transitions really impressed me,” he said.

The Nigerian contingent is set to depart from Lisbon for Casablanca on Wednesday, where they will face Ghana’s Black Queens in another friendly match this Sunday, to fine-tuning their preparations for WAFCON.
