Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted they had a challenge playing against 10-man Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
The English side was dealt a blow when Ben Chilwell was red-carded in the 59th minute with Chelsea already trailing 1-0.

As a result, the Blues had to change their game plan to accommodate the numerical advantage handed to Los Blancos.
To Ancelotti, they faced a problem while dealing with a 10-man Chelsea side.
"When they played with 10 men, they put up a low block, and it was not easy to find a solution," the former Chelsea manager told BT Sport.
"We spent a lot of energy in the game to try to press high, so at the end we were not so fresh to try to be able to find solutions. I think the result was good, as was the performance.
"My players understand there is another 90 minutes to play. It will be difficult, and we have to be ready."
Despite enjoying a 2-0 advantage going into the return leg, the Italian is cautious.
"Don't forget that Chelsea has a good team and good players. We won 2-0, and we took advantage of this game," he concluded.
"It's not done yet. We have to fight and sacrifice at Stamford Bridge. This is absolutely normal. It's the quarter-final of the Champions League.
"We are satisfied with the game. It was a good game, and now we focus on the next one."
Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio scored for the LaLiga giants on Wednesday.
