Alisha Lehmann scores for Juventus while boyfriend Douglas Luiz bags assist same day

Douglas Luiz made his move from Aston Villa to Juventus for a fee worth €50 million ($53.5m) after weeks of speculations.

A few weeks later the move was followed suit by his girlfriend who also completed her transfer to Juventus Women for an undisclosed fee.

Both players have embraced the new challenge in Serie A, with an outstanding performance for Juventus.

On the same day that lover Douglas Luiz recorded his first assist, Alisha Lehmann scored her first goal for Juventus, a momentous occasion.

Lehmann scored her first goal for the Italian powerhouses in a 6-1 friendly victory over Servette, a Swiss team, on the women's side. 

The 25-year-old was all smiles after that game and shared her joy in scoring her first goal on Instagram.

She said, “I’m so happy with the win today. And of course that I’ve scored my first goal for Juventus. I’m really proud to wear this shirt!”

Her boyfriend Luiz also had a reason to celebrate after helping Juventus' men's squad in their 2-2 draw against Brest.

He came off the bench to set up his countryman Danilo for a goal that gave the Bianconeri a brief lead before they were pulled back in the closing stages.

The couple will be looking to start the season on a high after having an impressive preseason for Juventus.
