AFCON 2025: Lookman, Ajayi, and Osayi-Samuel join Super Eagles Camp in Cairo

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman, along with defenders Semi Ajayi and Bright Osayi-Samuel, have reported to the Super Eagles' training camp at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.

The team is gathering in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The trio joins a growing squad, with goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, Tochukwu Nnadi, and Igoh Ogbu also among the latest arrivals.

They link up with Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who were already present.

The camp, which officially opened on Sunday, is expected to welcome more players throughout Monday.

The three-time African champions are scheduled to hold their first training session later this evening.

As part of their preparations, the Super Eagles will play a friendly match against the Pharaohs of Egypt on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
