In 2018, rumours emerged that Ronaldo had proposed to Georgina Rodriguez.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha reported that Georgina Rodriguez had accepted the Portuguese superstar’s proposal just weeks after Ronaldo was accused of sexually assaulting a woman years before their relationship - an allegation he denied and has been cleared of.
Rodriguez posted an image of herself wearing a sparkling diamond ring to her Instagram Story but deleted shortly after.

On April 18, 2022, Ronaldo and Rodriguez announced the death of one of their newborn twins, their baby boy.

Martins claimed Goergina moved the painting to the garage and replaced it with a painting of herself to the utmost disgust of Ronaldo’s mother.
“That painting was put in the garage. Dona Dolores was upset, and when she found out it was in the garage, she was furious. That house was under construction, and the painting disappeared. According to unconfirmed reports, Dolores Aveiro, who is the mother of Cristiano Ronaldo, does not want to see her son marry Georgina Rodriguez.
The reason is understood to be because she believes the Spanish model has economic motives in a potential marriage to the Portugal star.
