Paris 2024: Nigeria Rugby Releases Squad for Africa Cup 7s Championship
The tournament is to be held at the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe, on Saturday and Sunday, September 16–17, 2023.
Nigeria lost their first two games, 20-34 to Kenya and 12-38 to Zambia, the Nigeria Stallions and beat Nambia 22-19 to advance to the Qualifying quarterfinals as one of the best third-placed teams.
South Africa made into the quarterfinals by defeating Cote d'Ivoire 39-0, Tunisia 43-0, and Madagascar 38-14 in the group stages.
