Adesanya, though, seems intent on winning back the Middleweight championship and has no desire to leave MMA for the WWE.
The style bender is a well-known admirer of The Undertaker, a legendary pro wrestler, and has even entered the ring with his theme song.
Speaking on the merger between the UFC and WWE, Adesanya explained why he put up a clip of WrestleMania on his social media platforms.
He said, "We've been watching a lot of WWE stuff at the house.
"I was like oh yeah that was that um my way highlight one of the greatest highlights ever.
"So that's why I shared that and also it's a dope track dope highlights so yeah and it was WrestleMania weekend so it was a nice little homage to the merger."

Pereira explained in his session with the media that Adesanya is not a rival.
Poatan defeated the style bender twice in kickboxing events back in 2015 and 2016.
Pereira after another victory against Adesanya to win the UFC middleweight championship believes this will be the last time they face off.
Pereira then went on to say that Adesanya should join the WWE after another defeat as the UFC will have no more use for him.
He said, “The WWE is a place for Adesanya. Because after this fight, there’s a place for him to go.”

The statement by Pereira comes after Adesanya explained that he intends to make him bleed in their fourth fight.
Adesanya said, "I want to make it a blood bath like I get up and it's just red from elbows and just beating him lumpy like, I'll do that to him.
