Boniface returned to Nigeria with the Super Eagles team following their 1-1 draw to Benin Republic on Thursday night.
During the game, the striker came in as a substitute in the second half, with the team looking for an equaliser after Benin scored in the first half.
However, it was Osimhen who came to the rescue with a thumping header late in the game, as Nigeria secured qualification for the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.
