Antony: Man United's €100 MILLION flop proposes to longtime girlfriend Rosilene Xavier

Manchester United star Antony is set to wed his longtime partner Rosilene Xavier.

The 24-year-old Brazil international announced their proposal in a joint point on Instagram.

The Red Devils star shared romantic photographs from the proposal and was accompanied by the caption, “What God has in store for us is far more than we can imagine,” highlighting a hopeful sentiment for their future together.

Their engagement comes just weeks after the couple welcomed their second child.

Antony continues to be caught up in the crosshairs of the law amid his recent engagement over a case involving his ex-mistress.

Pulse Sports earlier reported the São Paulo Police have concluded their investigation into allegations of domestic abuse made by Gabriela Cavallin, a Brazilian DJ.

Cavallin’s claims, which surfaced in June 2023, included serious accusations of abuse and bodily harm, supported by photos and private messages. 

Despite the gravity of the allegations, the police have decided not to indict Antony due to insufficient evidence. 

The case has now been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for further review to determine if formal charges will be filed.

Antony’s affair with his mistress happened amid his relationship with longtime partner Rosilene Xavier, and the couple have two children.

Antony, who joined Manchester United for a staggering €95 million in August 2022, has struggled to justify the hefty price tag since his arrival.

Despite the high expectations that accompanied his transfer, his performances for the Red Devils so far have not matched the significant investment made in him.

However, the Brazil international remains hopeful of shining for the Premier League giants in the 2024/25 season.
