'We know how it ends'- Gary Neville believes Erik Ten Hag will get sacked at Man United

Gary Neville has said that Erik Ten Hag could be sacked following Man United’s bad form, with the Dutchman likely to suffer the same fate as his forebears.

Three days after losing to Manchester City by the same score, United lost 3-0 at home to Newcastle on Wednesday, eliminating them from the Carabao Cup.

Ten Hag is now leading United through its worst start to a season since the 1962–63 campaign.

The team has suffered its first home defeat at Old Trafford since 1930–31, losing five of their first ten games.

Neville’s comment on Ten Hag

Man United legend Gary Neville cautioned that Ten Hag may be in danger given his recent poor performance in the team.

Neville said as reported by Daily Mail, “We’ve seen it before, we know how it ends and we’ve had enough.”

According to Neville, Old Trafford's lack of a football structure is the cause of ten Hag's difficulties.

Neville continued, “In the last two matches Manchester United have played two clubs that have installed proper football departments to support the team on the pitch and off it. The complete opposite of United. We haven’t got a sporting director.”

Following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013, the Dutchman has been the team's fifth permanent manager.

However, Ten Hag’s job is currently on the line following the series of poor performances by his team.
