Several CAF nations have also lined up friendlies that will keep them busy during the international break.

CECAFA nation Sudan has secured a high-profile friendly match against Egypt.

South Sudan will travel north to face the African giants on June 18 at the Cairo International Stadium in what will be the first ever meeting between the two nations.

This means the Pharaohs will be back in action to face South Sudan just days after their June 14 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea in Morocco.

South Sudan – who first played their international game in July 2012 - are currently ranked 163rd worldwide in the latest FIFA rankings.

The CECAFA member could get a ticket to the 2023 AFCON finals to be held in Ivory Coast but need to beat The Gambia and Mali in their last two games.

The Pharaohs are on the verge of sealing a ticket to the continental finals, as they only need a point from Guinea.

The 2023 AFCON finals are set to take place in Ivory Coast in January 2024.

Meanwhile, Cameroon have lined up an international friendly against Mexico, which will be played on June 11. Morocco, who had an impressive run in the 2022 World Cup finals, will be up against Cape Verde on June 12.

Algeria will host their North African counterpart, Tunisia, on June 20, while Ethiopia will face Guyana on July 9.
