The Battle of the Stars produced an NPFL classic on Easter Sunday following a high-quality Southwest derby between Shooting Stars and Remo Stars.
It was a fantastic match, with two fantastic goals, end-to-end for 90 minutes and a share of the spoils for both teams.

Things are not going to plan for Remo Stars in the NPFL following another major setback in their bid to make it to the Super Six.
Both teams were superb, Shooting opened the scoring with a stunning effort from 25 yards out in the first half before Remo bounced back with an excellent equaliser in the second half.
Match in brief
In what was an end-to-end encounter, the host started the brightest and was the better side in the opening half.
It was not a surprise to see them take an early lead when Desmond Agbekpornu unleashed an excellent strike from 25 yards that was just too good for Remo’s goalkeeper.

After Shooting Stars defeat, Kwara Utd apologise to fans
Kwara united suffered defeat at home against Shooting stars.
The goal was coming and was no less than the Oluyole Warriors deserved after a brilliant and dominant start.
Remo’s Bankole Kayode was the busier of the goalkeepers at Lekan Salami as he produced two outstanding saves to stop the host from adding to their lead at the break.
After the break, both sides continued to push for that next goal, with Remo making changes after the hour mark as the eventual hero, Aniekeme Okon, entered the action.
Okon’s introduction did not take long to make the required impact after an excellent snap header six minutes after he came on leveled the score for Remo.

NPFL: Remo Stars in IMC soup for assault on referee
NPFL side Remo Stars have been in the news for the right reasons but not this time following severe punishment from IMC for an assault on a referee.
The final 20 minutes saw both sides try to find the winner but it remained elusive till the end with both teams sharing the spoils at the end.
On the balance of play, a draw was a fair result for the rivals, though one point does not favour either side that much on the table.
