Mohamed Salah was benched in the four-goal thriller between Liverpool and West Ham United but got into a heated fight with Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has refused to comment on his heated exchange with manager Jurgen Klopp during the Reds' 2-2 draw against West Ham United. 

The Egyptian striker was surprisingly benched for the crucial Premier League clash before coming on to engage in a furious argument with Klopp in the 79th minute on Saturday.

Salah, who is Liverpool's top scorer this season, walked through the mixed zone after the game, declining all interview requests and making a cryptic remark about the potential fallout if he were to address the incident.

"If I speak today, there will be fire," the Liverpool legend stated moments after the match against the Hammers according to a post by Fabrizio Romano.
