Speculation arose when it was revealed that Al-Khelaifi was contacted by the Glazer family, United's owners, regarding Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani's offer.

Paris St-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has firmly denied any involvement in the ongoing takeover bid for Manchester United.

Speculation arose when it was revealed that Al-Khelaifi was contacted by the Glazer family, United's owners, regarding Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani's offer.

However, Al-Khelaifi has clarified that his sole focus remains on PSG, and he has no connection to Manchester United.

Speaking in Istanbul before the Champions League final after a meeting of the influential European Clubs' Association (ECA) he chairs, Al-Khelaifi said, "Paris St-Germain is my club, in my heart.”

“I have nothing to do with Manchester United. It makes me laugh. I am Qatari, right? If people ask me my opinion, I will answer them for sure - and that's what they do.”

“I am talking about anyone, not just Manchester United. I will give them the experience that I have. That's it."

Al-Khelaifi also emphasized his commitment to PSG and his willingness to offer advice to others.

He revealed, "I'm not going to mention them but one was small, the other big. I don't know who the guy was.”

“But I told him my opinion," he added, also denying a meeting with Raine Group, the firm handling the United sale process.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Jassim's bid for Manchester United remains on the table.

He aims to acquire 100% ownership, while rival bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos Group are open to securing a majority stake, allowing the Glazer family to retain representation in some capacity.

Al-Khelaifi, who chairs beIN Sport and heads Qatari Sports Investments, expressed his support for new investment in football.

"I want the best for European competitions. If it's within the regulation, why not? Not only Qatari, everyone," he explained.
