Victor Osimhen struggled to make an impact in Napoli's 2-2 draw with Genoa.

Osimhen had a quiet game against Genoa over the weekend, struggling to make any kind of impact in the 2-2 draw.

The Super Eagles striker was largely anonymous and was limited to just one attempt on goal in the match, as his Napoli side fought back from a goal down to share the spoils.

Speaking about the game, former Serie A midfielder Alessandro Budel insists the Nigerian striker has been found out by Italian defenders, with Genoa's backline receiving special praise.

“Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia, and Lobotka, are three great footballers, but defenders are now used to them, so they have very little spaces to work with. Budel told Napoli Magazine

“Osimhen against Genoa had few balls because Genoa didn’t allow depth. In the second half, he tried to get busy by going wide, but it was clear that alternatives needed to be created to allow him to play better.

"One could be to insert Raspadori because he would free up the spaces a little, and the Nigerian would be less alone.”
