Nicolas Jackson’s move from Villareal to Bournemouth has fallen through following a failed medical.

Nico Jackson fails medical ahead of Bournemouth move

Jackson, a member of the Senegalese contingent at the World Cup, has seen his proposed move to Bournemouth fall through following a failed medical.

The young forward hurt his hamstring a few weeks ago and was set to return on February 10th. However, upon evaluation by Bournemouth’s doctors at his transfer-scheduled medicals, it was discovered that he would be unable to return until at least March 10, one month later than the previous schedule, leading the deal to fall through per Fabrizio Romano.

It remains to be seen if Bournemouth will revisit the deal in the summer, as Jackson is a player they have kept their eye on, and were clearly interested in.
