NPFL Champions Enyimba International can't seem to find a solution to their nemesis Remo Stars following a shaky start to their Naija Super 8 campaign.
Remo Stars have extended their unbeaten run against Enyimba following a successful start to the Naija Super 8.
Remo defeated the People’s Elephant 2-1 in the first game of the preseason tournament with new signing Isaac James the star of the day.
The Ikenne-based side has now gone four matches without defeat against the champions this year alone in all competitions.
James steals the show against Enyimba
In what was a repeat of the opening game between the two at the NPFL Super 6, it was Remo who shone brighter in the end.
During their four-goal thriller in the Super 6, the Sky Blues were inspired by new signing Junior Lokosa, who scored one and assisted another in a come-from-behind 2-2 draw.

In the Super 8, it was another new signing, Isaac James who stole the show as the Ikenne side defeated the NPFL champions.
Unlike Lokosa who came from the bench, James was handed his first start by manager Daniel Ogunmodede in what was his debut for Remo.
The young forward was unveiled eight hours before the game against the Elephants but was handed a starting berth in a show of faith by his new gaffer.
James didn't disappoint his new boss as he went on to seal a man-of-the-match performance to inspire Remo to a big win.
