These are not the best of times for Manchester United and their fans as one of their targets at Napoli has decided to join German champions Bayern Munich.

Premier League giants Manchester United will have to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcement after losing a major target to Bayern Munich.

United suffer blow

Following the report from Romano, the news of Kim’s imminentn transfer to Germany will come as a huge blow to English side Man United and their fans.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the talented centre-back all summer as manager Erik Ten Hag looks to shore up his defensive department ahead of next season.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is reportedly a huge Kim admirer.

Min-Jae has been on United’s radar following his excellent performance in a historic 2022/2023 season for Italian champions, Napoli.

The 26-year-old was a constant feature as Napoli ended a 33-year wait to lift the Serie A title last season.

United have been keen to activate Kim’s release clause this summer but would be forced to look elsewhere after he snubbed them for Bayern.

He joined Napoli last summer for £18 million from Fenerbahce, just a year after he joined the Turkish side. Kim played 45 matches for Napoli last season and scored two goals.
