New Napoli boss promises to improve Osimhen as his teammates

Napoli have unveiled their new manager Rudi Garcia, and he believes the team has room for improvement.

Rudi Garcia was unveiled as the new Napoli boss today, and in his opening press conference, he promised to improve the players in the team. 

Despite being Scudetto champions, Napoli had to scour the market for a replacement for Luciano Spaletti, who announced his desire to leave. 

They landed on French manager Garcia, who has experience in Serie A from his time at Roma and was recently the manager of Al-Nassr before parting ways.

At the press conference, Garcia said he was motivated and assured that if the players matched his determination, they would become a difficult team to beat. 

He said he would keep them focused. Noting the young age of the squad, he believes he can improve them.

"If the players are motivated like me, we will be a difficult team that fights; we must be attentive psychologically because you can fall asleep,” he said, per Relevo.

“I will set the alarm to make them grow; each one at their age can improve. I don't know anything else but to work with my staff and that the team is happy."

Meanwhile, Despite interest from top European clubs, Osimhen is set to remain at Napoli after Aurelio de Laurentiis confirmed they have agreed on a contract renewal.
