Kyle Walker's representatives are apparently in intense discussion with Bayern Munich over a possible transfer this summer.

The England international helped Guardiola's squad during the treble, winning the FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League.

However, following Pep Guardiola's rejection of him for the Champions League final, the right-back has been linked with the exit door at the Etihad.

Bayern are discussing a £15 million transfer fee with Manchester City to acquire him this summer according to reports.

They are also discussing with his representative as they look to finalise personal terms and a deal with the Citizens

Bayern offer Walker a deal

Bayern has reportedly given the England international a two-year contract with a third-year option if specific goals are accomplished in his second year, according to a report from the German news outlet Sport Bild.

Walker would love to extend his tenure at City if it were possible, but it is looking doubtful, according to a previous Daily Mail report.

According to reports, the deal is getting close as both parties are trying to reach an agreement on the deal.

On Sunday, it was claimed that Walker was in advanced negotiations to join Bayern, with former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel being a crucial figure in the decision to bring the defender to Germany.

Sheffield United also interested in Walker

Daily Mail reported earlier this week that Sheffield United was interested in luring Walker to Yorkshire.

Walker's local team, the Blades, would be happy to have him return after his 2009 departure as they adjust to their first season back in the Premier League.

The 33-year-old left Sheffield United to join Tottenham Hotspur, where he remained until he joined Manchester City in 2017.

Since then, he has participated in over 250 games for City and has collected 12 awards, including five Premier League championships and the Champions League.

A move to Bayern Munich would enable Walker to continue playing Champions League games next season.
