Manchester United reportedly blocked Harry Maguire move away from loan.

Manchester United have reportedly rejected an offer to loan Harry Maguire, as they insist they do not want him to leave on a temporary basis.

The 30-year-old defender joined the Red Devils from Leicester in the summer of 2018 and was named captain by then-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, he has since lost his place as the starting centre-back, and at the start of the season, he was stripped of captaincy, with Erik Ten Hag opting for Bruno Fernandes.

Given his limited game time, he has been continually linked with leaving the club.

What happened next?

According to the Daily Star, the Manchester-based Club refused an offer to loan the England international.

The Red Devils are said to prefer a permanent sale and were previously in talks with West Ham over a transfer, however, talks broke down.
