This fixture was one of the most keenly anticipated in the week 14 round of matches in the NPFL.

Doma United and their goalkeeper, Osayi, came into the clash on the back of a nine-match unbeaten wreak, with the Super Eagles linked shot-stopper keeping clean sheets in all the games.

For the home side, Lobi Stars, they were hoping to return to winning ways after a narrow defeat to Akwa United the previous weekend.

Kingdom Osayi breached by Yes Father

It took just four minutes for highly rated Osayi to be breached after over 800 minutes of action without letting in a goal and after 90 minutes, the title chasing Lobi emerged victorious following a brilliant display.

Two goals in either half from Stanley Oganbor and Suleiman Mojereola were enough to give the Pride of Benue the win and three points at home.

Samuel Enefiok scored a late consolation but it was nothing but that as Doma’s nine-game unbeaten run came crashing.

With the win, Lobi moved to second place behind Remo Stars, who will host the Benue boys next, while Doma are third in the standings.
