Tolu Arokodare is reportedly on his way to the Premier League after Genk accepted an offer of €27 million.
The Nigerian presence in the Premier League is set to grow as Wolves have reportedly agreed to a deal to sign striker Tolu Arokodare from Belgian club Genk.
Wolves, who have been actively seeking to strengthen their attack all summer, are on the verge of securing one of the most sought-after forwards of the transfer window.
Known for his clinical finishing and imposing 6’6″ frame, Arokodare poses a significant physical threat in the penalty box. The Nigerian striker scored 22 goals and provided seven assists for Genk last season, catching the eye of several top clubs.

Arokodare is expected to provide both cover and competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen, and his arrival should give the Wanderers a better chance of avoiding relegation.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the transfer is valued at approximately €27 million, and the 24-year-old is expected to arrive in England soon to complete his medical.
Wolves have had a difficult start to their season, with a 4-0 loss to Manchester City and a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth. Many pundits have tipped the club to be in a relegation battle.
Manager Vitor Pereira will be hoping that Arokodare’s addition will provide a much-needed boost in offensive firepower and offer greater tactical flexibility.
Arokodare was linked with Manchester United, Burnley, and Everton over the summer, but a move to Molineux now appears to be a done deal.
