Amorim says Casemiro will suffer after the Red Card in Man United’s win over Chelsea
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted that midfielder Casemiro will feel the weight of his red card despite scoring in their 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Casemiro doubled United’s lead before being sent off for a second bookable offence, leaving the hosts to finish the game with 10 men.
His dismissal came after Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was shown a straight red card in just the fourth minute, setting the stage for a fiery contest.
What happened
The Brazilian midfielder looked to have capped a strong performance with his goal, but his dismissal shifted momentum and gave Chelsea hope.

Man Utd vs Chelsea: Lifeline for Amorim as Red Devils survive late scare to win red-card thriller
Manchester United ran out 2-1 winners over Chelsea in a highly entertaining Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Defender Trevoh Chalobah pulled one back with a late header, setting up a nervy finale. United, however, held firm to secure all three points.
What Amorim said
Speaking to BBC Sport after the game, Amorim said Casemiro was already disappointed with himself.
He said, "He's [feeling] worse than me. We won so I will forget a little bit and he will suffer because he's a top professional. He understands what he did. He is experienced enough that that play should not be played like that. He cares too much.
"We suffered in the end but we deserved the win. Our crowd, our fans are easy to please. If you give everything they will be there. That is something our players need to understand. To have the crowd with us we just need to run, to fight and tackle.

Amorim has made his feelings known about Marcus Rashford, after ignoring questions about the Barca forward to shower praise on another Man United loanee.
"With this win we have to forget the good feeling of winning the game and get back to the urgency of feeling we need to win the next game,” Amorim explained.
Despite the win, Casemiro will now serve a suspension, leaving Amorim with a midfield selection headache as United prepare for their next fixtures in the Premier League and Europe.
