Former Rangers manager Ally McCoist has advised Marcus Rashford to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Ally McCoist thinks it's time for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford to bid farewell to Old Trafford!

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club's co-owner, planning a major squad overhaul, McCoist believes Rashford needs a fresh challenge elsewhere.

This season, the talented striker has struggled under Erik ten Hag, scoring just 8 goals in 40 appearances, and McCoist believes Rashford needs a new spark.

“Looking at Marcus Rashford, I honestly believe it’s in the best interest of all parties that he goes and gets a fresh challenge somewhere else,” McCoist told talkSPORT.

“I think he needs it and I think the Manchester United fans are beginning to run out of patience with him and a few others in the side.

.“I look at his body language and he just doesn’t look happy.”

Rashford has attracted strong interest from PSG in the past, and with Kylian Mbappe potentially leaving to join Real Madrid this summer, the French giants may be tempted to make another push for the 26-year-old England international.
