Moyes set for West Ham Ax'

David Moyes' stint at West Ham has been under heavy criticism after a string of dismal results, culminating in a 5-0 loss to London rivals Chelsea. The Hammers are now in ninth position in the Premier League, having won only one of their past five matches.

Moyes' future looks to be in jeopardy, especially following his team's latest hammering by Chelsea, which followed a 5-2 loss to Crystal Palace. Despite leading West Ham to UEFA Conference League triumph last season, Moyes' time at the club appears to have come to an end.

Lopetegui set for return to England

West Ham have been in advanced talks with Julen Lopetegui as a possible replacement for Moyes, and according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been struck for the Spaniard to take over the managerial reins. Lopetegui is said to have accepted West Ham's offer and is about to begin formal negotiations, with final contract terms being worked out.

Lopetegui offers a wide range of experience to West Ham, having worked at Real Madrid, Porto, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, and Wolves. The former Barcelona player is best remembered for leading Sevilla to Europa League glory in the 2019/20 season, as well as his drama-filled stints with Spain and Real Madrid.
