Beyond Limits secured their fourth consecutive TCC championship title with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Broad City, led by a brace from striker Kparobo Arierhi and a defensive masterclass from captain Ganiyu Adio.

Kparobo Arierhi stole the show, scoring two fantastic goals and also missed a sitter all in the second half as Beyond Limits shook off a shaky start to the season to defend their TCC title.

The Creative Championship, TCC, saw Beyond Limits beat Broad City 2-0 on Monday evening to lift the title for the fourth time in a row.

Beyond Limits, who are also Viareggio Cup Champions, took time to get going against the stubborn Broad City side content to sit in a low block and stay compact.

However, an improved No Limits found solutions in the second half with substitutes Sunday Ogbonna and Peter Adejimi proving a handful in wide areas to allow under-20 striker Kparobo to come up clutch with two goals.

Skipper of the side, Ganiyu Adio, was another outstanding performer on the day in the game played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Adio made no fewer than 10 interceptions as his game-reading ability came to the fore against a spirited City side.

But the Beyond Limits captain was eventually beaten to the man of the match award by match-winner, Kparobo, whose goals proved the decisive difference between the teams.

Beyond Limits remain the only team to have won the impressive and competitive grassroot league which has become an important developmental structure for Nigeria’s future football players.
