The Blues decided to part ways with the English manager after loss to Aston Villa.
Chelsea are expected to interview five managers for the vacant position following the exit of Graham Potter.
According to Daily Telegraph, five coaches have been earmarked for interviews to fill the position Potter held for just about seven months.
Former Brighton midfielder Bruno Saltor was given the duty to oversee the senior team following the club’s decision to sack Potter.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino, who has been linked with a move back to Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid, is said to be among the people the Blues are considering appointing.

Despite spending more than £550m on new players this season, Potter leaves Chelsea in 11th place.
However, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy is willing to wait until the end of the season in order to make a decision on who the next manager will be.
Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann, who has also been massively linked with Chelsea over the past few days, will also be interviewed by sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.
Luis Enrique, a former Barcelona and Spain coach, and Napoli’s Luciano Spalletti, along with at least one other candidate, have also been tipped to undergo the interview.
Meanwhile, following Potter’s sacking, former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink lauded the decision.
"When you’re at a big club in the Premier League, you need to deliver the results, and the results have not been there," Hasselbaink told Sky Sports. "I was okay with the appointment of Potter, it just didn’t work out.
"He came in September, had lots of problems because of injuries, and he couldn’t really get them going.
