“We are delighted to confirm the signing of Jordan Obita,” Hibernian announced their newest acquisition.

“The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Club, having left Wycombe Wanderers this summer. Hibernian FC holds an option to extend his contract by a further season,” the club added.

Obita joins Hibernian from English League One side Wycombe Wanderers, where he has been since 2021.

He has previously played for Reading, Barnet, Gillingham, Portsmouth, Oldham Athletic and Oxford United, all in England.

Obita was born in England to Ugandan parents but chose to play for the latter. He has played for the English under-18, under-19 and under-20.
