Cristiano Ronaldo's form counted for Al Nassr was not enough to see him at the top of the list of performing players in the Saudi Pro League.

Portuguese football great and Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has finished third on the list of best performers in the Saudi Pro League. 

The ranking comes as a surprise giving Ronaldo an impressive forward for his club side Al Nassr in the League.

In his last 11 matches for Al Nassr, the 38-year-old has maintained remarkable consistency with his goal contributions. Ronaldo has scored 10 goals and assisted four more for a total of 14 goals and assists to lead Al Nassr. According to a report by Sportskeeda, a list from Sofascore puts Ronaldo third in terms of performance.

Leading the chart is Al Fateh midfielder Mourad Batna, who has an average rating of 8.11 per game.

Batna has also scored seven goals and assisted seven more for his Fateh teammates.

Coming a close second is Igor Coronado of Saudi giants, Al-Ittihad, who has an average rating of 8.09.

Ronaldo's 13 goals and seven assists left him third with an average of 8.07 rating per game.

This ranking from Sofascore will surely raise a few eyebrows, especially considering the impact Ronaldo has had in the Pro League.

But with plenty of games still to play in the season, it would be interesting to see if the Portuguese star will close the gap of finishing at the top of the list.
