Real Madrid are ever close to wrapping up the LALIGA title after Brahim Diaz and Jude Bellingham inspired them past a spirited Cadiz.

Real Madrid took a giant stride towards their 36th LaLiga title after Brahim Diaz and Jude Bellingham inspired them to a 3-0 victory over a spirited Cadiz side.

Carlo Ancelotti's men were kept at bay in a goalless first half as Cadiz dug deep to frustrate the Spanish champions at the Bernabeu.

However, any hopes the visitors had of pulling off an upset were extinguished within seven second-half minutes as Diaz and Bellingham struck crucial blows.

Diaz Breaks Deadlock

It was Diaz who made the vital breakthrough on 51 minutes, lashing home a ferocious drive from the edge of the area to finally break Cadiz's resolute resistance.

The 24-year-old's thunderbolt was just reward for Real's patience and relentless probing as they looked to edge closer to an expected title triumph.

Bellingham Wraps It Up

Any doubt over the result was removed soon after when substitute Bellingham doubled the lead with his first involvement just two minutes after coming on.

The 20-year-old England midfielder showed great composure to stroke the ball home the second before Joselu’s late goal capped off a convincing Madrid performance.

With a 14-point lead and just four games remaining, the victory leaves Real on the cusp of being crowned Spanish champions for a remarkable 36th time.

Ancelotti's men have negotiated a tricky run of fixtures in April to maintain their grip on the title race, with vital wins over Barcelona, Real Sociedad and now Cadiz.

While there is still work to be done mathematically, no one at the Bernabeu will be contemplating any late slip-ups as the club's latest LaLiga crown looks virtually secured.

For Diaz, Bellingham, and Joselu their goalscoring contributions were further statements of intent as two of Real's brightest young stars making an impact when it matters most in the title run-in.
